Walter Chang, is a major supporting character who only appeared in Tremors. A well-aged if somewhat eccentric man having inherited the full Chang frugality and business sense. He owns a shop in Perfection where the residents would buy groceries & drinks from him. When Val, Earl & Rhonda confronted one of the Graboids & describe them to everyone what they are capable of, Walter claimed that since Perfection’s residents discovered the creatures, they should name them, an idea that Miguel and Melvin agreed too, though Val and Earl thought that naming them wasn't important. Shortly after Walter coined the term "Graboids", one of them suddenly appeared in the area & ate him.
