Synopsis
  • When crook Chuck Cullen digs up the silver coins he had stolen prior to his arrest, he finds that they are blank, but is shocked when he turns and finds the figures on them have come to life. Commanding the Roman Sesterce, Athenian Stater, Tetradrachm of Syracuse and the man-bull of Gela to help him commit crimes, he gains the attention of Green Lantern who tries to stop these creatures and Cullen. Knocked out, Green Lantern is taken into his own power ring, where it turns out this was all a ploy orchistrated by Myrwhydden, who wanted revenge against Hal. However, Hal anticipated some form of outside power playing a role in the events and switched bodies with the Roman Sesterce. When Myrwhydden's guard is down, Hal knocks him out and uses the horn Myrwhydden was using to control the coin creatures to make them turn Cullen over to the police and return where they came. Hal then uses his power ring to erase Myrwhydden's memories before leaving the world in his power ring.
  • After Carol is injured testing out one of her new flying machines, she is brought to the hospital for treatment. However she awakens and finds herself drawn away from the hospital. Green Lantern gets twice the trouble when Carol Ferris is exposed to the special sapphire that turns her into Star Sapphire once more. As Star Sapphire, Carol once again resumes her quest to best Green Lantern and force him to marry her, remembering the fact that Hal had promised to do so in their last encounter. To make matters worse, another Star Sapphire, the Zamaron named Dela Pharon has come to Earth, also seeking to get Green Lantern to marry her. Being defeated by Dela Pharon, Hal agree's to go with her to Zamaron to be married, however before the wedding can procede, Carol arrives and battles Dela. Hal takes advantage of the situation and subdues Dela, and forces her to agree to restore Carol back to normal and allow them to return to Earth. Hal returns Carol to her hospital bed where she awakens with no memroy of what had happened.
