Agrip of Lignieres, France started around 1950 converting war surplus WWII American Jeeps for farm use by fitting diesel engines and larger rear wheels. Later they started building larger tractors utilizing war surplus truck axles. They then built larger articulated tractors mainly for forestry work and industrial applications. Today the company refurbishes industrial tractors and forestry tractors.
