After the death of the Changeling and the Cardassian pilot, the Vorta Methras reported that there wasn't any more ketracel-white, prompting Virak'iklan to hit Methras with his rifle. Virak'iklan allowed his soldiers to kill the Vorta, and the Jem'Hadar then began fighting each other. Virak'iklan was killed by his Second and brought back to life by (*). Then he killed his Second, but the Second was brought back to life and killed the First with the help of the Third. Seeing his troops continually slaughtered and resurrected, over and over again, gradually Virak'iklan began to suspect that something was wrong - that the endless carnage was not the will of the Founders. However, he was still swept up in the constant fighting amongst the Jem'Hadar survivors. Eventually the cycle ended when the Solanco entered the Hunyadi Rift, resulting in the death of Virak'iklan and everyone else aboard. (ST short story: "Night of the Vulture")
