| - The Westlandic Mark', (plural; Marks, Westlandic: Markvästlandik, Mk) is the currency of Westland. 1 Mark is divided into 100 Pennings, however Pennings are no longer in use due to inflation. Since the 1980's, Marks have only been issued in notes form. The word Mark, comes from a measure of the weight of gold and silver. The name has been used by other Europeans currencies, however Westland is the only country that still uses a currency known as the mark. The name 'Penning', comes from Old English, Pening, and is related to the German Pfenig. The Mark itself has been in use since the 20th century, when it replaced the Krona. Westlandic Marks are now solely printed in bank notes, after Pennings were abolished due to inflation. Currently, the exchange rate of the Westlandic Mark with the Euro is 1 Euro = 157.99Mk.
