- Weaponsmithing is one of two primary BS (blacksmithing) specializations (the other being Armorsmithing) which allows access to certain BoP weapon recipes. Weaponsmithing is required to access any of the weapon sub-specialties: Axe-, Hammer-, or Swordsmithing. Weaponsmithing is granted from a quest: The Alliance quest is from Ironus Coldsteel at the Great Forge in Ironforge; the Horde quest is from Borgosh Corebender in Orgrimmar.
