  • Time Lord names a member of the oligarchic rulers of the planet Gallifrey, the Gallifreyans. Less frequently in the Doctor Who BBC television series they are referred to as Lords of Time or Chronarchs. Gallifreyans possess one the oldest and mightiest civilisations in the universe. As the Time Lords, they held absolute power for some ten million years. Intervention by all thirteen incarnations of the Doctor placed the Time Lords in suspended animation.
  • The Time Lords were a mighty civilization capable of time travel. Residing on the planet Gallifrey, the Time Lords swore an oath to observe the universe, but not interfere - much like the Prime Directive.
  • Time Lord, not be confused with the race of people, is the thirteenth episode in the ninth season of Doctor Who and is the second part of the three part season final, seeing the Doctor face off against the Talons of Faran, while Billy is stranded on Earth.
  • Time Lords have two hearts. When they suffer a mortal injury, illness, or old age they can regenerate which gives them extremely long life spans. Time Lords are godlike, corrupt as fuck and most likely paedophiles. (This article was not written by a Dalek.)
  • Time Lords (Nederlands: tijdheren), vrouwelijk vorm: Time Ladies (Nederlands: tijdvrouwen) zijn de wezens die heersen over de planeet Gallifrey.
  • A Time Lord or Time Master is a person with magical powers to affect the time stream. A female Time Lord is called a Timestress. Time Lords include: * Lord Gnostis, a non-Hellenic Greek Time Lord, the earliest known Time Lord in recorded history, from 512 BC. Lives in the 79th level. * Lord Marcellus Timagetus, a Roman who found and conquered the dimension the Time Lords call home (79th level) in 180 BC. Retired to live in 137 BC * Lord Simultaneous, his pupil from the Middle Ages (year unknown) * Savanti Romero, his earlier pupil * Renet Tilley, his later pupil * Lord Augusto Critie an Italian Time Lord from 1613 AD. * Lord Cekini Garvan: a Time Lord from the future, 2113 AD.
  • The Time Lords (sometimes known as Lords of Time, or Gallifreyans) are a sapient humanoid race from the planet Gallifrey, so called because of their ability to manipulate time and space through technology more advanced than most other civilizations. They are an extremely ancient and advanced race, and are believed to be the creators of time travel. The main character of the British science fiction series Doctor Who is a member of this race.
  • Time lords are superhumanly intellegent, fast (the Doctor does an AWFUL lot of running and doesn't even break a sweat), and strong to some degree (has been able to karate chop a brick with ease). They have photographic memory and have a near-infinite knowledge of the universe. Their civilization is over 1 billion years old. Time Lords possess a special "sense" which can allow them to sense temporal paradoxes/anomalies or whether a point in time is "fixed" or in "flux". This "time-sense" is one of the reasons why Time Lords are the only species with time-travel technologies, in that they don't mess up the time-line(doing so will blow a hole in the universe). Time Lords have special resistance to radiation as the Doctor has been able to handle X-rays 50 times the normal standards use in hosp
  • The Time Lord was the first Lord to be created, and in turn is believed to have the most control over the universe, as, in the words of Ethian Eltii, he is "the chair that everything sits on", basically meaning that he holds the universe together. Enuch has complete control over anything and everything bound by time, and thus also has complete control over eternity. This means that the things he can do are almost limitless.
  • The Time Lords are an alien race from Doctor Who that can travel through time. They do this via a device called a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), which can be (and often is) Bigger on the Inside and, when functioning properly, changes itself to blend with the environment. (You'll often hear about "The TARDIS", which simply refers to the TARDIS that belongs to the Doctor, the Time Lord who is the main character of Doctor Who.) Time Lords also have other powers, such as regeneration, extreme strength, or at least durability and partial psychic abilities.
  • Time Lords themselves are able to live to advanced ages, several hundred years; additionally, when they die, either of natural causes or from violence or illness, they are able to regenerate into a new body, with all the memories of the old one but a new personality. Time Lords can regenerate up to twelve times before they finally die (unless they are bestowed with additional regenerations). Despite this, both the Doctor and the Master survived. The standard Time Lord disguise includes a complete regeneration cycle, a fact some agents have exploited to cheat death.
  • The Time Lords were a advance civilization from the reality of Earth-5680 created by Time. During their early existence, they had already started to build their culture, and beliefs and were conducting experimentation of immortality. In the next 300 years, the Time Lords were already a very advance civilization with machinery, and advance technological advancements. Soon, they were able to leave the planet, and do travel in their local solar system, Maetor System to which they were able to advance.
  • The Gallifreyans had one of the oldest and mightiest civilisations in the universe. As the Time Lords, they held absolute power for some ten million years. (TV: The Ultimate Foe) Finally, it appeared, and was assumed by the Doctor for a time, that the Last Great Time War all but wiped out the race. (TV: The End of the World, The End of Time) However, intervention by "all thirteen" incarnations of the Doctor placed the Time Lords into a pocket universe. (TV: The Day of the Doctor) They later attempted to get the Doctor to release them on Trenzalore and while he did not due to the threat of a new Time War, the Time Lords saved him from what would have been his thirteenth and final death by granting him a new cycle of regenerations. (TV: The Time of the Doctor) They eventually unfroze Gallifr
  • The Time Lord is a powerful being of ambiguous origin who ensures the smooth and orderly flow of time through space, a task—in his words—beyond the comprehension of mortals. He holds dear the well-being of the universe, opposing those who would seek to bring destruction and chaos. "To aid thee in thy cryptic search, to dungeons thou must fare. There seek out the Lord of Time to help you if he cares." - advice from The Oracle, Ultima III
