- Miles "Tails" Prower - He is a 8 year old younger-brother figure to Sonic, whom he idolizes, Tails is the youngest freedom fighter (since the season two episode "Drood Hedge"). Often left behind in Knothole Village during missions, he is incredibly bright. (also if season three was produced, he would have matured and played a much larger role as an official member of the Freedom Fighter team, even showing a bit of a rebellious side).
- Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, is one of the main characters of the Sonic series as a whole. The name "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour", a reference to the famed speed of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an 8 year-old yellow fox with two tails (similar to the mythological kitsune), hence his nickname. He is known to be Sonic's best friend, sidekick, and an expert mechanic. He is able to use his two tails to propel himself into the air like a helicopter.

- Tails' (テイルス Teirusu) richtiger Name ist in Wirklichkeit Miles Prower (マイルス・パウアー Mairusu Pauā). Er ist ein zweischwänziger Fuchs und der beste Freund von Sonic. Tails mag aber seinen richtigen Namen nicht und so nannte Sonic ihn Tails. Er ist der beste Freund von Sonic und bekämpft gemeinsam mit ihm das Böse bzw. Dr Eggman. Er ist sehr schlau, jedoch nicht so schlau wie Dr Eggman. Wenn Tails seine Schwänze wie den Propeller eines Helikopters rotieren lässt kann er fliegen. Er versucht immer ohne Sonic auf eigenen Beinen zu stehen und zu kämpfen. Tails hat außerdem große Angst bei Gewittern. Er ist einer der jüngsten Freunde von Sonic.
