Jon: Spearow Quick Attack! Luke: Magmar, Hyper Beam! Referee: Spearow is unable to battle. Jon: You done a great job Spearow. Falkner: I never though Focus Blast and Aerial Ace could be combined. Tyler: I learn every day from Jon. Luke: Pikachu?! Jon: Can you battle Pikachu? Luke: Persistent, I like it. Magmar Flamethrower and Krabby, use Bubble! Jon: Bubble Flame. Heracross use Brick Break on the battlefield, Pikachu you do the same with Iron Tail! Luke: Bubble Flame, I like it. Heracross and Pikachu are strong, that is for sure. Even with Pikachu taking damage from the battle with Bulbasaur and Eevee. Jon: Pikachu is a very strong Pokemon. Now use Focus Volt! Luke: Oh no! What to do? Referee: Magmar is unable to battle. Luke: What was that move? Jon: That was Flare Blitz. A move which causes recoil like Volt Tackle does. Luke: I see, so Magmar learned Flare Blitz. Tyler: Magmar is powerful. Mary: A Pokemon we need to look out for. Jon: So three Pokemon each. Luke: True but Pikachu is almost at his limit. Jon: I wouldn’t count Pikachu out yet! Jon: An Ursaring?! Tyler: I didn’t know Luke caught an Ursaring. Mary: He said he caught it sometime after he met you and Jon in Monocco Town. Ralph: Ursaring is a strong Pokemon. Falkner: And when Ursaring is angry, it is at its most powerful. Jon: Ursaring are tough. Heracross, use Brick Break! Luke: Krabby block it with Crabhammer! Luke: Now Slash! Jon: Pikachu, help out with Iron Tail! Luke: I’m getting a bit annoyed at how good Jon is. It’s like he counters almost everything I throw at him. Jon: Now, let’s use another combo. Focus Tail! Luke: A combo move. Wonder what Jon is going to do? Luke: What? Stalling? Ursaring Hyper Beam, Krabby Agility. Jon: Got you. Tyler: Got him? Jon: Now Pikachu! Pikachu flings the Focus Blast with Iron Tail at Hyper Beam causing a smoke cloud to cover Ursaring and Krabby. Jon: Heracross, Brick Break! Luke: Crabhammer! Jon: Heracross, Night Slash! Referee: Both Heracross and Krabby are unable to battle. Jon: Great work Heracross. Luke: Thanks Krabby. Jon: The only difference is, Cyndaquil hasn’t battled. Luke: Hmm. Cut on Pikachu! Jon: Iron Tail! Jon: Thunderbolt! Luke: Hyper Beam! Jon: Volt Tackle! Luke: Brick Break! Referee: Both Pikachu and Ursaring are unable to battle. Tyler: Jon has the type advantage. Falkner: As well as the stamina advantage as Cyndaquil hasn’t battled yet. Mary: That doesn’t mean Jon will win. Ralph: I can’t wait to see how this one goes. Jon: Luke, it’s like what you said yesterday. No holding back. Luke: I did say and we agreed on it. Jon: Flamethrower! Luke: Solar Beam! Jon: Flame Charge! Luke: Energy Ball!
