Salomon Solano (born September 19, 1985 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas) is a Mexican defensive tackle in American football. He has recently played for the Baltimore Ravens (2009) and the Detroit Lions (2008). Prior to that he was signed by the Rhein Fire in 2006. He played college football at Tamaulipas. Solano has also been a member of the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League and Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League, where he is teammate of another two Mexican players, Ramiro Pruneda and Eduardo Castañeda.
