The Solar Terrarium humanoids that inhabited Solar Terrarium depended on the sunlight from this star to heat their world, as they needed 140 degree temperatures in order to live comfortably. At some point in the past, when industry was in full swing on Solar Terrarium, the atmosphere began to get polluted, and smoke blocked out much of the sunlight from the sun. This caused the temperature to drop. Over time, the temperature was as low as 85 degrees, which, although fairly warm by human standards, was considered "bone chilling" for natives of Solar Terrarium.

After the event Robin referred to as the Cosmic Crisis, the Super Friends traveled to Solar Terrarium to clean up the planet and its' atmosphere, so as to allow the sunlight to get through, and warm the planet once again.
