  • Orichalcum/Orichalcium is the ultimate Alchemical metal, and pale yellow in color. It is exceedingly rare and valuable, being produced from Mithril and other ingredients in an Alchemical refinement process so arcane that the only reliable source is a surviving coven of ancient Fey under the Himalayas. Orichalcum is the ultimate conductor of Yang, the mystical energy borne by sunlight.
  • Orichalcum (called Oricon in this game) is used to make the Sword of Kings. You find it in a pasture in Hauksness and give it to a merchant in Kol. Later you will get the Sword of Kings from him for a high price.
  • Atlantis exists in the Age of Heroes. AT74-90, B527, IW140-14
  • An Atlantean metal. Extremely powerful when alloyed with steel. Known to enhance magical enchantments.
  • Orichalcum is a crafting resource in Dragon Age II. It is used to craft runes.
  • Orichalcum is one of Sophitia's weapons in Soulcalibur III and Soulcalibur IV, and her ultimate weapon in Soulcalibur II. It can be bought in Character Creation for 7,000 Gold after completing Story Mode with Sophitia. It is weapon made from orichalcum, a mysterious metal said to have been used by the people of the lost continent of Atlantis. Atlantis vanished in the far distant past, and there is no one left in the present day who knows how to forge it. It is said to be the world's strongest metal.
  • The Orichalcum is a rare ore that is required to make an item set for Kaim or Seth.
  • Orichalcum is a crafting component introduced in the Blood and Wine expansion. It is a byproduct when orichalcum ore is dismantled. It is needed to craft orichalcum ore.
  • Oricalchum is een legendarische metaallegering, die in gebruik zou zijn geweest in Atlantis. Een vermoedelijk andere legering van dezelfde naam was in gebruik bij de Romeinen vanaf de tijd van Augustus.
  • Orichalcum is the "ghost metal" once produced in Atlantis, and is the primary material of the scales wore by Poseidon's mariners, as well as a key component in the different alloys used in bronze, silver, gold and unknown cloths. Among the notable properties of this metal are its great resistance (even being called the hardest material on Earth, which goes against the traditional mythos, that establishes gamanium as harder than orichalcum) and the power to generate energy, enough to even give life to inanimate objects.
  • A basic Orichalcum is represented by a star-shaped, aqua-colored jewel. Its upper half is lined by five triangular spikes that alternate from large to small. Its lower half has two slanted spikes on either side and one diamond-shaped spike on its bottom. The center of the jewel is adorned by white sparkles. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Orichalcum has a Mineral material structure and is light pink in color.
  • Orichalcum is a legendary precious metal that was mentioned in Plato as used in Atlantis. (Orichalcum appears many other places in classical Greek and Roman writings -- the Homeric Hymns assign gold and orichalcum ornaments to Aphrodite -- but it's the Atlantis reference that it's remembered for.) It has since been commonly used in fantasy literature and games as a type of Unobtainium. The term is Greek for "golden stone" and originally meant "mountain copper" or "mountain metal," though nobody is sure exactly what it was supposed to be. Possibilities range from an alloy of normal metals to a completely fantastic material, though the most common perception is that it is brass.
  • Orichalcum is a legendary material that can be used as a source of energy. The people of Atlantis used pearl-sized pellets of orichalcum to power their machines; orichalcum beads were produced by a massive machine fed with lava. Such beads were discovered during the Jastro expedition; Klaus Kerner was looking for such beads and showed them to Dr. Hans Ubermann who commented that the potential of a small bead was comparable to uranium but with no radioactivity; an ideal power source for the Third Reich. Magnus Völler collected orichalcum and kept it on board the Odin.
  • Orichalcum is a forest-green- to jade-colored metal near equivalent in durability to iron yet lighter, but known most for its magic repeling properties. It it used extensively to armor soldiers meant to attack magi on the battlefield and for guards that are guarding magi. Mage prisons are lined with orichalcum bars to make them more secure against their occupants. Orichalcum is highly reactant with magic, causing a burning sensation to magicent flesh. A mixture of orichalcum powder, saltpeter, and mage's blood is used to make a magically incendiary device.
  • Orichalcum is combination of all five of the True elements - earth, fire, water, wind and wood. It manifests as a special type of true earth, similar in colour and texture to gold shot through with an opalescent sheen. It can be created by taking a kernel of True earth, heating it with True fire which is fueld by True wood and bellows that pump True air, then cooled using True water. It also occurs naturally near veins of True earth and can be mined, but this is extremely rare. Wars have been fought over access to orichalcum in the past, and it is still highly valued in the present time.
  • Orichalcum (the Latin word for "bronze") is an orange-golden arcane alloy, which can only be manufactured with the means of Alchemy. The very existence of Orichalcum is a metallurgical nightmare, as it cannot exist without the presence of magic. It is believed by some magical authorities in studying ancient legends that the inhabitants of Atlantis discovered orichalcum.

  • Orichalcum or aurichalcum is a metal mentioned in several ancient writings, including the story of Atlantis in the Critias of Plato. Within the dialogue, Critias (460 – 403 BC) claims that orichalcum had been considered second only to gold in value and had been found and mined in many parts of Atlantis in ancient times, but that by Critias' own time orichalcum was known only by name. In numismatics (the study of coins), orichalcum is the golden-colored bronze alloy used by the Roman Empire for their sestertius and dupondius coins.
