Cadet Jaxa was a 23rd century individual who was an upper-class student at Starfleet Academy in 2258, in an alternate reality. Jaxa was one of a number of cadets who were pressed into as service Starfleet officers by an emergency order from Admiral Richard Barnett during the crisis in the Vulcan system. Jaxa in particular was assigned to serve aboard the USS Endeavor. (TOS novelization: Star Trek) Since the Endeavor was not mentioned or seen as one of the ill-fated fleet destroyed at planet Vulcan, it could be reasoned that Jaxa survived the crisis.

- Jaxa was supposed to be one of the cadets assigned when Vulcan was attacked by the Narada in 2258, to the USS Endeavour.
- Jaxa was a former Time Agent, whose primary responsibilities included going back in time to recover material from the past that had been lost during archival clear-outs. Sabbath hired Jaxa for his crew when she nearly suffocated while travelling to a lunar colony after she materialised three decades before the colony would be founded. She was apparently killed when Jonah Cosgrove shot her while she was materialising from a teleport; while her suit was bulletproof, Cosgrove managed to shoot her at just the right time for the bullet to materialise inside her. She was sent back to their home by Roja in the hope that she could be saved, although he acknowledged that it was unlikely. (PROSE: Trading Futures)
