If this is your first attempt at the Lazy Vault try an obstacle such as a gate about abdomen or waist height. You can do this vault from a slight jog or a running start. Approach the gate (obstacle) and place your dominant hand on the top getting a good grip. Kick your feet up in front of you and kinda pull yourself to the other side of the gate (obstacle). Before you hit the ground release the gate (obstacle) and give it a quick touch with you other hand before landing. Sometimes even a push with your other hand to insure that you don't land on the gate (obstacle).

  • The Lazy Vault is a vault used for moving over an obstacle sideways or diagonally while still running or moving forwards. It is also sometimes confused with a Thief Vault; however, the thief vault is a hybrid vault consisting of elements of the Dash Vault and the lazy vault.
  • Lazy Vault- A vault where you approach the obstacle much like a regular parkour vault but during the initial hand placement on the obstacle you only put one hand down and then push of the table with your free hand as you are nearing the end of your jump to give yourself the needed boost to finish the vault. (it terms of looks and hand placement, it is much like a dash vault).thumb|300px|right
