The point of the featured article is to feature high quality articles. The whole unwritten rule of no one that is currently relevant either needs to be written down or done away with an I am in favor of the latter as anyone should be able to be featured whenever as long as the page is good and they havent been featured in the last year. Hell, the page doesnt even need to be good. I cite Rosemary Village as an example of that. TL:DR, the unwritten rule needs to go as it is only a hindrance to featuring good articles.-- Plus, I agree with God about just doing away with that unwritten rule.

Despite this event, Yury's page is still more popular than Bisca's (according to the cats anyway, after clearing cache, but eh, dunno how reliable). By that argument, voting for Yury is the wrong thing. Plus, this hot topic thing isn't really convincing coming after the recent Aquarius-themed month. We obviously can't have a Bisca-themed one 'cuz, sadly, she doesn't have many cool pics or quotes. 'Cuz, y'know, she's not very relevant. :/ Yury is quite relevant right now, what with all the God Serena speculation going around. Much more relevant than Bisca is now, or ever will be. Again, this would mean that voting for Yury is the wrong thing to do. Plus, I agree with God about just doing away with that unwritten rule. Lastly, ... last time I opposed something in a similar vote, I started a huge oppose war. Just hoping something similar doesn't happen here.
