Your vision expands further, and you see the pale owner of the hand leaning back in an ornate black throne. "He still seeks to wake the Power on its terms. He will fail. I failed those many years ago. And how many times before then? And still he hopes. Fool." He tears his gaze away to stare at the three beings before him. On his left, curled comfortably on the floor, her great head level with the throne lies a black, winged, dragon, with grey highlights moving unnaturally around her body. On his right, stands a creature that looks like a humanoid giant, taller than a house and composed of pure darkness. It wears no clothing and has smooth, hairless skin and a genderless body. In the middle is a slim, serene, dark- haired woman whose full plate is painted with white enamel. He addresses the slim woman. "How goes the effort?" "Lord Xin, as you know our agent was able to create a deep breach 6 years ago; he reports that he has finally managed to secure a hold on the breach's remnants, and is confident in thier use."
