The son of Senator Jar Jar Binks, he was not far out of his tadpole stage when his family moved away from Theed, but he chose nonetheless to remain. Culturally he was much more like a human than a Gungan, and he spoke perfect Basic. During the battle to liberate Naboo Queen Kylantha sent him along with Druné Votorina to the Rebel Alliance with a plea for help. The rebels sent a force led by Naboo native General Sabé Andierre which helped drive the imperial forces off Naboo permanently. The two ambassadors remained with the fleet and were eventually among those who signed the Common Charter.
