The Kansouri Monarchs are a reincarnation of the Kansas City Monarchs, the longest-lived team in the former Negro Leagues. Although its heritage is tied to the black culture of North America, the current team has no preferred ethnicity. The Monarchs play at Buck O'Neil Memorial Stadium, located at the Fountain Bluff Sports Complex in L-Town, Kansouri. The team is currently independent and is setting up a fall barnstorming schedule. The Monarchs might consider joining a baseball league in the near future.
