  • Scarlet fever is a monster who appears in IX.
  • Scarlet fever, formerly scarlatina, is a contagious disease that is caused by the group A β-haemolytic bacilli Streptococcus pyogenes. It typically affects children between the ages of 3 and 15.
  • Scarlet Fever is a passive death knight ability learned at level 68 for death knights with the blood specialization.
  • When her mother died, Mary was heartbroken. She then discovered that not only had her mother died, but she had the disease as well. insane with grief and having nothing to lose, Mary changed her name to Scarlet and vowed to spread disease to every person on Earth, starting with Gotham. She then became the archenemy of Batgirl (Batman:The Next Chapter). She then rose to become the leader of the New Birds of Prey.
  • Note: Scarlet Fever is not the official DC name for this character. She was an unnamed Legion applicant, who also appeared later in a UP Military Academy uniform, still without a codename. The name 'Scarlet Fever' was given her by Legion fan Rob Rundle who made these micros, but when Ratonpier put the micro on his website, this name got transferred along with the micro. The same occurred in a few other cases: Balm; Flotsam & Jetsam; Rain Girl, Tank.
  • Scarlet fever is a disease. Anna Mary Jones contracted the fever and died of complications from it in 1912.
  • Union victory in the Civil War brought improved medical treatment to the South, as well as relieving residents of the need to climb to the second story of buildings in large cities.
  • "Scarlet" as a name has always invoked an air of passion and sensuality. Usually a female-oriented trope, the name "Scarlet" (sometimes with two T's) often denotes a woman with a fiery, indomitable personality and complicated morality. If she's a hero, she'll be on the aggressive side. If she's a villain, she's almost never straightforwardly evil. As one can expect, she is often a Lady in Red and/or a Fiery Redhead, especially if "Scarlet" is actually a nickname or codename.
