Kenji Nishizawa (born 1960 in Kyoto, Japan) is an employee of Nintendo. Nishizawa graduated from the University of Kyoto and joined Nintendo in 1982, working as a programmer for R&D1. Nishizawa was a debugger for Metroid II: Return of Samus and assisted in development of the password system for Metroid. In recent years, Nishizawa has taken on support and coordination roles in video games. He held a management position in Marigul Management, a now defunct Nintendo subsidiary, from 1999-2001.
