The Professor is a unit original to Metal Slug Attack, first appearing in the Extra Ops titled "Black Future" (as a pre-acquisition unit, obtained by purchasing 10,000 medals). He rides within a modified Ring Laser Mecha, and primarily attacks by firing vertical rings at his opponents. His special attack summons a large circular buzz-saw, or if File:MSA Skill small +.png 4 is unlocked, two of them. When placed in the same deck, he and El Dorado form the "New Face II" team. This lowers their AP costs by 10%.

| - The Professor is a unit original to Metal Slug Attack, first appearing in the Extra Ops titled "Black Future" (as a pre-acquisition unit, obtained by purchasing 10,000 medals). He rides within a modified Ring Laser Mecha, and primarily attacks by firing vertical rings at his opponents. His special attack summons a large circular buzz-saw, or if File:MSA Skill small +.png 4 is unlocked, two of them. Although slow, fairly low on health, and with an abysmal damage output, the Professor excels in crowd control. Each of his attacks deals minimal damage, but strikes many times as they pass through an enemy - and once he's upgraded sufficiently they'll stop most units in their tracks via a stun effect. It's not uncommon for him to single-handedly lock down large crowds of enemy units all on his own. Keep in mind that the Professor's special attacks, although far more damaging than his regular ones, do not stun enemies. Think twice before interrupting his standard attack pattern in order to fire it. When placed in the same deck, he and El Dorado form the "New Face II" team. This lowers their AP costs by 10%.
