Tad Kornegay is a professional Canadian football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Previously, Kornegay joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders just prior to the start of the 2007 regular season on June 24, 2007 via a trade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. During the 2011 season, Kornegay was released by the Roughriders and later signed with the BC Lions where he was part of that team's Grey Cup victory. On July 20, 2012, the Stampeders signed Kornegay.
