Niamh is best known for representing her country at Eurovision on two occasions. The first was at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 in Millstreet performing the song In Your Eyes. She won with 187 points in an exciting final vote sequence. The song topped the Irish charts after her victory and outsold all other singles in Ireland that year. She participated a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo with the song It's for You. She qualified from the second semi-final in ninth place and finished 23rd in the final. Despite that, it was the start of a run of consecutive qualifications for Ireland from 2010 until 2013. In 2017, Niamh won the second edition of Celebrity MasterChef Ireland.
