Raptorian is the self-proclaimed "King of Sugar," referencing his disturbing proclivity towards eating raw, unrefined sugar directly from sacks, and his claims that he has amassed an actual mountain-sized pile of sugar "somewhere to the north." Given that Secians do not lie, it's hard to dispute his claims... but then, Raptorian has never been considered a paragon of sanity. Certainly one must accept that HE believes them.

Given that Secians do not lie, it's hard to dispute his claims... but then, Raptorian has never been considered a paragon of sanity. Certainly one must accept that HE believes them. Raptorian first arrived in the Spur quite some time ago, long before the Plague, but disappeared and did not resurface until after the Plague, making him one of the older Secians living in the city--there is some question as to whether or not he is older even than Weldoian. Upon his return, Raptorian presented himself as an incredibly flighty, hyperactive, and not-too-bright Secian, adopting a childish dialect and bizarre antics. He also apparently suffered from a peculiar recurring hallucination involving a miniature flying pink oliphant. In fact, Raptorian took to wearing a plush costume modeled after his nonextant friend. After bonding with Caylith, Raptorian abandoned his more silly behaviors such as his dialect and hyperactivity (apparently, they were a "game,") and has actually become a fairly serious and increasingly irreverent Secian. He still, however, sees the oliphant and is quick to reassure everyone else that they, too, will someday see the nonexistant creature. Recently, Raptorian was "adopted" by Magenta Silverleaf and Sast Silverleaf, even though his real parents are still alive. This also makes him the adoptive brother of Kiki Keyara and Laetus Firefly. Most recently, he became engaged to Luminita, much to the bewilderment and dismay of all of Luminita's friends.
