Sudbury was a town in Atlantis. During his winter campaign of 1775, Victor Radcliff successfully took the British garrison at Sudbury. The troops were chargined by the unorthodox winter attack. After the redcoats in the fort had been secured, Radcliff's men went into town and found the remaining officers, many of whom were being entertained by ladies in town. At least one officer was able to escape on horseback, although he was trouserless. He rode north. Radcliff turned south on Halstead.
