July 21, 2008 PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The urban car service ZipCar is challenging 30 people in Pittsburgh to take its month-long low-car diet. It is offering a free one-year ZipCar pass with some free driving time and a bus pass. All you have to do is hand over your car keys for four weeks. The idea is to save you money on gas, while cutting down on auto emissions. About 30 residents in each of the ZipCar's 12 North American cities will be selected for the challenge.
