- "My Hands" is a promotional theme of the western versions of Final Fantasy XIII, performed by the English singer Leona Lewis with backing vocals by Stephen Simmonds and composed by Ina Wroldsen and Arnthor Birgisson. It plays as the ending theme in place of "Kimi ga Iru Kara" in the Japanese version. "My Hands" is the one of the two theme songs in the series that were not written or composed specifically for Final Fantasy, the other one being Florence and the Machine's rendition of the song "Stand By Me" for Final Fantasy XV. However, "Stand By Me" was specifically arranged for Final Fantasy XV as evidenced by the section of the Prelude that can be heard on the song. In contrast, Leona Lewis had already recorded "My Hands" for her second album, Echo, which was recorded in September 2009. Square Enix reported approaching Leona to use her song in November 2009.
