As the Titans scaled Mount Olympus they were attacked by the Hippocampi. In order to aid Gaia, Kratos went through the Tomb of Ares, where the corpse of the fallen god was entombed in hard ice. Kratos pulled a lever and climbed to a platform that led him to the exit and the aid of Gaia. Shortly afterwards, Poseidon meets his end outside the tomb of his nephew by the hands of his other nephew Kratos.
