- Dr. Curtis Knox says he can "cure" someone of being a "meteor freak", changing their life. Chloe takes an interest in this, but Dr. Knox may have another secret.
- A life-saver! When poisoned by the swamps, traps or foes, when hit with paralysis or a horrible curse, this spell is the rescue! Cure removes any and all of these effects from the patient. All poison or adverse magical effects are flushed out, restoring the subject's well being. However, it doesn't heal the patient's injuries, so for this, the Heal spell is required. Red potions fulfill the same purpose as this spell. Should an entire group need curing, then the Mass Cure spell can be used to them all at once.
- While under the effect of Afflatus Solace, the target will be granted the effect of Stoneskin for 25 seconds.
* This effect does not stack with, and will not override effects granted by the Stoneskin spell, or Earthen Ward.
* The stoneskin effect has a potency equal to ~25% of the amount of max HP that cure restores. This spell can be prevented from being cast on you by anybody outside of your Party or Alliance by using the command /blockaid. This spell scroll given to you if you start the game as a White Mage is Exclusive
- In Tales of the Abyss, if Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear casts this spell within a fully charged Earth or Dark FOF Circle, it will change into Restore. In the PlayStation 3 port of Tales of Vesperia, Flynn Scifo can learn Cure as an altered arte. He can activate this arte if the "Great Deluge" skill is equipped while using First Aid until the arte is mastered. After this, Cure is available as a separate arte that does not require the skill to be equipped. He can also use it in the crossover RPG Project X Zone, though it becomes a typical healing spell there, restoring only 30%.
