Carlo Corvo was a sergeant in the United States Army. He was part of the occupation of Germany after World War II. Bernie Cobb was one part of his squad. Corvo was one of several soldiers given the task of combatting the German Freedom Front. He and his squad had the unenviable task of wandering the woods outside Erlangen at the end of 1945. They were in a firefight with GFF hardliners, which left several of the GFF dead.
