Army Command was a staff of senior generals of the Imperial Army, headquartered on Coruscant. From there, Army Command issued orders to various Army units across the galaxy and kept track of all Army troops movements. It often worked in conjunction with Stormtrooper Command, the leadership of the Stormtrooper Corps. Several Grand Generals were appointed by Command, one of them holding the Chief of Staff position.

- Army Command was the council or staff of senior army generals led by the Army Chief of Staff—senior commanding officer of the Imperial Army—that commanded all of the Imperial Army forces from Imperial Headquarters on Coruscant. It was subordinate to the High Command but still had the power to make all decisions on ground campaigns and any other matters in the Army's jurisdiction. | - Army Command was a staff of senior generals of the Imperial Army, headquartered on Coruscant. It served the Galactic Empire, and later the Imperial Remnant on Bastion. It went on to be used by both the Fel Empire and later Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. However, under Darth Krayt, it's powers were limited by the Sith, until the Command was eventually dissolved altogether. That infuriated the generals, causing many of them to defect to the Empire-in-exile in 131 ABY.

Army Command preferred the use of walkers over repulsorlift or ground vehicles. Presumably it became a subdivision of Central Command. Due to the hierarchical elements of the Imperial Military, Army Command receives its orders from the Emperor, which then are transmitted down the chain of command down to the commander in charge of a ground operation.
