Matrix Eureka (also referred to as The Matrix, or simply, the Program), is a fully immersive virtual reality, built by Beverly Barlowe, her crew, and overseen by Michaela Wen. The Astraeus Crew, plus stow-away Allison Blake, were plugged into the program, from Lost to Force Quit. After which Carter, with help from Henry and Beverly, shut down the program, and freed them. If the user was not released from the program before shutdown, their avatar dies in the program, or someone unhooks their headset, their neuron-system is fried, killing them.
