The Forbidden Forest of Weeds is a dense jungle of malicious plants on the planet Okaara in the Vega system. Chronologically, the Forest was first seen during the flashback given by Larfleeze, as he recounted a part of his history to Hal Jordan in return for the Blue power Ring that Jordan had upon him at the time. The Forest was one of the obstacles posed to the four remaining thieves in Larfleeze's guild (the fifth having being killed on Maltus) when they followed the map they stole from the Guardians of the Universe. The Forest claimed yet another one of their guild, leaving three to claim the Orange Light at the forest's center. The Forest was later penetrated by the Guardians, who with a force of Manhunter androids, pursued the thieves into the temple that housed the Orange Light. It
