The service was expanded in November 2014, becoming a downloadible application in addition to the website. Added content includes games, select song inserts from Sesame Street as well as individual segments of "Elmo's World," "Elmo the Musical," "Cookie's Crumby Pictures," "Super Grover 2.0," "Abby's Flying Fairy School" and "Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures." Episodes of The Furchester Hotel also became available. Following the news of Sesame Workshop's five-year development deal with HBO, it was announced the app would no longer house new content and the amount of playable material would be trimmed down. On December 15, 2015, the site underwent a change in content, no longer accessible only through paid subscription. In June 2017, the site was made into a redirect for the newly revamped Sesamestreet.org.
