There is a chance that the player will fail in making the gold bowl, causing one or two gold bars to be destroyed without a resultant bowl. When successfully made, 30 Smithing experience is gained and a message of the achievement appears in the chat box. Multiple gold bowls may be made during and after the quest to efficiently produce large amounts of Holy water. They will have to be blessed individually by Gujuo, however.

  • The Gold Bowl was a golden Chinese bowl. In 1939, it was discovered in a back alley of San Francisco's Chinatown by Indiana Jones, when he was tracking the kidnapped Suzie Tan. Jones noted in his journal that the bowl dates from the 8th century Tang dynasty. The Gold Bowl looked quite similar to the Golden Bowl that Jones found inside the Lao Che Lounge, also in Chinatown.
