Igor Nikitin (b. March 23rd 1973 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, U.S.S.R.) is a former professional defenceman. Nikitin began his career with KT Ust-Kamenogorsk in 1991-92. He retired in 2008 after spending most of his career in the Russian Superleague. Nikitin played for Team Kazakhstan at the 1994 World Championship Pool C and 1997 World Championship Pool B; he was also on the team for the 1998 Olympics.
