The Duddeston Manor Estate was one of four that made up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 council-owned tower blocks in Aston. Along with Cromwell Street Estate, it was refurbished in the 1990s, while the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were demolished to make way for new low-rise houses. The only tower block to be demolished on the Duddeston Manor Estate was 12 storey Churchfield House.
