Imperial Storyteller spread the greatest tales through the Empire. The Imperial Storyteller were an odd lot, but much beloved by the people of Rokugan. Most come from the ranks of the Miya family, but storytellers from the Otomo and even Seppun were not unheard of. Elderly and no longer able to serve in their previous capacity, these samurai instead traveled the Empire, visiting the courts and villages of the Great and Minor Clans and sharing stories of valor from the Empire's history with its people. Samurai greatly appreciated the exceptional storytelling skill of these men and women, and the peasants savored any form of entertainment, much less from kindly old samurai who favored them with gifts in the process.
