With the advent of a final incarnation of the Imperial Cult, this trend is likely to continue. With the Church's passing, there have been no Scourges to tell people to worship at the local temple or face damnation, no venomous Priests to terrify people into geneflection, and no inquisitions to breed a deep fear of the Shadow and an almost blind devotion to the salvation of the Light. As the Ordinators of the Imperial Cult now begin to gear up to take administration over the numerous near-abandoned Shrines, Temples, and Chapels across the Empire, it is unlikey that anyone will fear a return to the ways of the Church. The bitterness between the former Emperor's Blades and the Scourges of the Church of True Light was well established, and the desire to "do things right" is paramount in the workings of the Imperial Watch and the Imperial Tribunal already. Though previously-rogue Priests and Clerics may encourage people to gather for worship and sermons, the Imperial Tribunal will be keeping a close eye on the Imperial Cult to make sure that the Ordinators ensure that a rise in zealous sentiment is not something the faction is remembered for, and the tenets of "The Order" are maintained to encourage that which common sense and understanding does not already cater for.
