In 3415 the Nebulon Colony is suddenly overshadowed by a giant creature that is so passionate, its beauty freezes it — trapping it in ice! It is one hundred years later that Eleventh Doctor and Amy arrive with a patio heater (from the TARDIS' patio) and begin to thaw the people out. However the creature appears and tries to stop them ruining everything. The creature explains that as a traveller long ago, he found the colony and its peaceful harmony so perfect he didn't want it to change, and so froze it in time.

  • In 3415 the Nebulon Colony is suddenly overshadowed by a giant creature that is so passionate, its beauty freezes it — trapping it in ice! It is one hundred years later that Eleventh Doctor and Amy arrive with a patio heater (from the TARDIS' patio) and begin to thaw the people out. However the creature appears and tries to stop them ruining everything. The creature explains that as a traveller long ago, he found the colony and its peaceful harmony so perfect he didn't want it to change, and so froze it in time. The Doctor explains that by freezing it, the creature has actually taken away what made it special. The creature is convinced and agrees to thaw it out. The creature is a polar-creature and to keep his cold limbs, draws away the heat into its lungs. With a few deep breathes the polar-creature thaws the colony out in a moment. Everything and everyone resumes their lives once again, believing they have had a strange dream.
