| - The Omniverse is the collection of every single universe, multiverse, dimension and realm ever seen.
- The omniverse is a multiverse of multiverses. The omniverse is a major staple in Hottie 3: The Best Fan Fic in the World. There are thirteen multiverses in the omniverse.
- Omniverse is all of creation it is held within a Megaverse which contains Multiverses which these contains a multiverse and they contain Universes which these universe's contains countless Galaxies which contains multiple Solar Systems which contains countless planets. A Omniverse is truly transinfinite and can house Real life history and characters they can even contain other fictional series.
- The Omniverse holds all of reality. Containing everything imaginable (or at least connected to). An alternate definition of the Omniverse is that it contains an infinite number of these "layers"; universes combine to make multiverses, multiverses combine to make megaverses... and the stack, which can be called an infinite fractal array of archverses, keeps going forever. In this way the Omniverse could be a direction one approaches rather than a physical set containing some infinite number of -verses.
* Gigaverse
* Paraverse
* Protoverse
- On this wiki, we do not use the term "Omniverse" anymore because no source seems to agree on what it is. 1) The Marvel handbook defines it as all of fiction and reality combined. If this is the definition, then no fictional character can logically reach this high, as each supposedly "omnipotent" fictional entity only has influence over its own fictional continuity. Their reach stops with the copyrights for the franchise, and they certainly have no influence over our reality outside of fiction. Chris Claremont's New Exiles series also follows this definition
- Term used to refer to the total collective existence of universes. The Omniverse is composed of countless independent, and defined universes which exist in their own isolated state, operating under their own Spatial-Temporal laws and nature, each having its own distinct context of space and time as well as other foundational forces. It is bound by the energy-matrix known as the Omniversal Chain and embodies all of known existence on its level of reality, with only the remnants of the Void existing beyond its boundaries. The only other specifically defined location relevant to it is the Nexus of Creation which exists at its exact center.

If this is the definition, then no fictional character can logically reach this high, as each supposedly "omnipotent" fictional entity only has influence over its own fictional continuity. Their reach stops with the copyrights for the franchise, and they certainly have no influence over our reality outside of fiction. 2) Other definitions of omniverse include the one given in Mark Gruenwald's Quasar series, as an infinite collection of multiverses. Given that Mark was likely the one who originally came up with the term "omniverse" in the first place, this is also certainly a very relevant definition. Chris Claremont's New Exiles series also follows this definition As an extra contradiction, the Marvel handbook has apparently also embraced this version of the definition on occasion. Also, in recent comicbooks by the writer Al Ewing, Kevin Brashear, and later the superhero group the Ultimates travel outside of the Omniverse, and it seems to be used as a synonym for the regular multiverse, so Marvel does not currently treat the concept as absolute. 3) In addition, the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines an omniverse as a 7-dimensional universe (3 spatial and 4 temporal dimensions), Wiktionary defines it as a collection of universes, and Spore defines it as a 10-11th dimensional space. Meaning: Alternative #1 means that an omniverse is too great a term to use to classify any character, whereas the other options mean that it is far too small to define the greatest ones.
The Omniverse contains many different types of -verses, including these somewhat lesser-known ones:
* Gigaverse
* Paraverse
* Protoverse It also contains all of the virtual spaces known to man, such as Hyperverse and Xenoverse. Of course, greater Networks and concepts are not intrinsically connected to it. The only trait every single thing within the Omniverse share is that it exists. How it exists varies in countless ways.
