| - Tegel Village and its website were both closed simultaneously when the operator had to move to a new geographical location. The module was released in episodes averaging at least 1 episode per week, and 130 episodes were produced. The last episode, Tegel Village 124, was 130 MB in size, and covered more than 400 areas. BioWare recommends that modules greater than size 100 MB be split across servers, but it still operated reliably as a successful example of the Hardcore Ruleset. TegelVillage.com, the website for the Tegel Village module and its players, ran for two years until the popularity of other new games lured most of the cannon fodder. The web site was approved for use by Bob Bedslaw, artist and author of Judges Guild. In the pen and paper module, Tegel was not actually called "Tegel Village", just Tegel. Tegel was set in the Judges Guild world of Altanis. To fit better with the setting of the official campaigns, the town was situated in the Forgotten Realms, in the northern Sword Coast, along the west bank of the river about 300 miles upstream from the city of Neverwinter.
