Continuing from the events from The Rangers' Leap of Faith, Octaga, now goes by Ariana Smith explains to the rangers she posed as a villain in Vexica's army was to rescue the captured Cruger and the missing cadets. The rangers, Sky Tate, Bridge Carson, and Susie Gold were shocked to learn Ariana was sent there under Fowler Birdy's orders because he didn't trust them to rescue the captured cadets and Cruger. This made the rangers unsure if she's trustworthy to help them because she was sent undercover by someone in SPD who doesn't trust them. Ariana explains that she participate in this assignment was because she wanted to move away in her career in Space Patrol Delta. Sky reveals that Ariana is a newly graduated cadet in SPD and that sending a new cadet undercover was against regulations. Then Ariana receives contact from Birdy. She informs him that her cover was blown and Vexica, her army, Cruger, and the missing cadets got away. Angered that Ariana failed, Birdy relieved her of her duties. But the rangers have a bigger problem: Vexica wants revenge on Ariana, and to accomplish this, she sends an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. When the rangers have a tough time stopping an asteroid and defeating Vexica's monster, Ariana came up with a program which meant all six rangers must combine their megazords to form C-Squad Ultra Megazord. After the monster and the asteroid were destroyed, Andy finals calls truce with Ariana. But they receive a communiqué from Birdy, although he was impressed that the C-Squad rangers stopped the asteroid, Vexica remains a problem. She still had Cruger and the missing cadets and a new ship. Birdy is still not sure if the rangers are trustworthy enough to bring Vexica to justice. Andy tells off Birdy that he and his friends are going to stop Vexica and bring her to justice and doesn't care was Birdy thinks and cuts off communication. Ariana is put back on duty and decides to stay at the SPD base and work with Susie and Kat with the ranger's zords.
