- Gallantmon sind Heilige Kriegerdigimon, die Ritter mit roten Umhängen und einer Rüstung aus Chrome Digizoid darstellen. Sie sind sehr mächtig und ihre Lanze, sowie ihr Schild sind wirkungsvolle Waffen. So dienen sie eigentlich dem Schutz der Digiwelt, jedoch kann es auch passieren, dass sie sich gegen eben diese wenden und dann eine große Gefahr darstellen. Dafür, dass sie den Typus Virus haben, sind die sehr gutartige Digimon und wollen eine friedliche Digiwelt.
- Gallantmon is one of the thirteen Royal Knights in the Digimon franchise, acting as a guardian of the network. Gallantmon is also one of the two Megas of the Guilmon digivolution line, the other being Megidramon. Although Gallantmon is considered the benevolent Mega level Digimon compared to its more draconic counterpart, it has been known to work for certain unsavory characters from time to time, like King Drasil.
- Gallantmon is an Exalted Knight Digimon whose Japanese name is derived from "Duke", and whose English name is derived from "Gallant". One of the "Royal Knights", it is a being containing contradictions, as it is called a guardian deity of the Net despite being a Virus attribute, and if by any chance its balance is lost, it is possible for it to become a dangerous being. It pilots the Flying Dragon machine "Grani", as a dragon knight that races across the skies. It is clad in holy armor refined and constructed from 99.9% pure Chrome Digizoid, and its right hand can become the holy lance "Gram", rivaled only by Darkdramon's "Gigastick Lance", while its left hand can become the holy shield "Aegis". - Gallantmon is the one of the main heroes in Digimon Tamers and the Mega form (Ultimate form in Japan) of Guilmon as well as being one of the members of the Legendary Royal Knights of Yggdrasil. He resembles an exalted knight that is clad in holy white armor with a long red cape and it's right hand can become a jousting spear and the other hand carries a holy shield. His known attacks are Lightning Joust where he shoots out energy from his spear, Shield of the Joust where he fires an energy blast from his shield.
