World War III, or the Third World War (often abbreviated as WWIII or WW3) was a very large global conflict lasting from 2014 to 2018, involving almost all of the world's nations-- including all of the great powers-- eventually forming two opposing military alliances: the Allied Forces and the Coalition Forces.
