Sergeant McIntyre was a British squad leader who was mentioned in the Intel Document "York Set Up". On July 7th, 1951 Sgt. McIntyre and his squad followed a group of Cloven down from Lancaster. He found and observed them engaging against the Chimera in which he noted it to be very peculiar as most Cloven avoid the Chimera at all costs. This engage him to further observe them more. On July 11th, McIntyre and his squad witnessed the Chimera were drawn into surrounding York by the Cloven which led to the devastation of Operation Deliverance.
Doctor McIntyre, also called Doc Mac, was a scientist on the Betan Astronomical Survey ship Rene Magritte. He took part in the "rescue Commander Naismith from the evil Barrayarans" operation; he was able to look somewhat like a Barrayaran soldier, so he stood guard over their shuttle. He was able to sound out Barrayaran Cyrillic writing enough to pronounce Koudelka's name.
