Jerome Messam (born April 2, 1985) is a professional Canadian football running back for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the BC Lions. After being traded to the Edmonton Eskimos, he became the third Canadian running back since 1960 and the first since 2000 to rush for over 1000 yards while also winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award. Messam played college football for Graceland University.
