Shorinji-Ryu (少林寺流) is a style of Okinawan Karate created by Kyan Chotoku (1870-1945). It was created from the Shuri-Te style of the Shuri Castle Keimochi (Okinawan Samurai Class). Its main emphasis is strong hip movement, and hip level kicks.
