Doctor Vickavon Basil Frankensaur is a kritosaurus who is considered one of the Vegetarian Sector's finest scientists. While good-hearted, he can be a little eccentric at times. He seems to be an expert in the transfer of matter as well as robotics. He developed and programmed a robotic assistant named IGOR to defend him and his work from thieves and rival scientists who threatened his studies. With the danger over and Hydra arrested by the DSS, Frankensaur decided to leave the asteroid and return to Hadros Major, resuming his job there in peace.

abstract	Doctor Vickavon Basil Frankensaur is a kritosaurus who is considered one of the Vegetarian Sector's finest scientists. While good-hearted, he can be a little eccentric at times. He seems to be an expert in the transfer of matter as well as robotics. He developed and programmed a robotic assistant named IGOR to defend him and his work from thieves and rival scientists who threatened his studies. Most of Frankensaur's work was done on Hadros Major, where he did important work for electronics companies before his disappearance in the middle of an important, top-security project - the MATTA, a device that could combine living plants into larger ones. When he was attacked by agents working for Professor Hydra, a daspletosaurus scientist interested in his work, Frankensaur escaped to a holiday home belonging to his family on an asteroid. Unfortunately, Hydra pursued him there and succeeded in merging himself with Frankensaur through his own MAMMA machine, which combined animals instead of plants. Suppressing Frankensaur's own mind, Hydra reprogrammed IGOR to serve him and began work on his ultimate project, a combination of the two machines that would allow him to conquer the Vegetarian Sector. Teggs, Arx, Gipsy, and Iggy, investigating a hijacking carried out by Rojan Barb and Jack Spallack, landed on the asteroid and were met by IGOR and what they believed to be Doctor Frankensaur. Hydra, in full control of Frankensaur's body, explained the doctor's work on the MATTA machine and the reason he had to retreat to his asteroid hideout. Later, however, "Frankensaur" revealed himself as a grotesque mix of kritosaurus and daspletosaurus when Gipsy noticed that he somehow knew that the monster loose in the castle had no head, although he had never seen it. However, Frankensaur was resting to regain his strength, and during a key moment in the battle with Rojan-Jack and Hydra he regained control of his body, first disorienting the carnivore before slamming Hydra's head against the wall and knocking him unconscious. Afterward, with help from Arx, Gipsy, and Sprite, Frankensaur used the combined machine to separate himself from Professor Hydra. He then decombined Hydra's mutated servants, Rojan-Jack and Bim-Wim-Lim-Dim-Ponko. With the danger over and Hydra arrested by the DSS, Frankensaur decided to leave the asteroid and return to Hadros Major, resuming his job there in peace.
