Edward "Eddie" Wiseman (born December 28, 1912 in Newcastle, New Brunswick – May 6 1977) was a Canadian forward. He started in junior hockey with the Regina Argos (1928-29) and the Regina Pats (1929-30). After that he turned pro with the Chicago Shamrocks of the American Hockey Association for two seasons. Wiseman started his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1932. He was then traded to the New York Americans in 1935. The Boston Bruins accquired him in 1940 for Eddie Shore. Wiseman won the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 1941.
